(More OT) I Hear The Water In Arkansas Is Very Hard

I'm starting to catch up on True Blood's third season.  I really enjoy that show. I don't care at all about Vampire Bill and Sucky, the star couple, but all the other characters are just awesome.  I also love how it represents the South.  So realistic! Just like in the title sequence, I wade to work every morning through a sensuous swampland populated by ecstatic Pentecostal preachers, Klansmen, ass-jiggling roadhouse strippers and savage reptiles that symbolize humanity's basest instincts.

It looks like Season 3 is off to a good start. I think Jason Stackhouse is perhaps my favorite character, and his "conscience off, dick on" storyline seems like a comedy goldmine.  However, something nice needs to happen soon for my other favorite characters, Tara and Lafayette.  They can't just keep getting tortured.  Plus, Lafayette needs a love interest.  I am not at all into vampires, but True Blood has so much going on besides the vampires that it's one of the only shows I'm actually following.

ETA: Just found this video. Oh. My. Dogg.

Sure. Give me a few minutes to put on a bikini top, short denim shorts and a cowboy hat, then I'll go jump in the creek and wrassle that gator.

I just wondered what a title sequence to True Blood: Canada would look like.

MOUNTIES. HUNDREDS OF THEM.

Got it. Hundreds of Mounties striking at each other, weeping in heartsick shame, and shaking their asses. They've got to do the spinoff ASAP.
