My First Real Fic

I finally did it! I'm not nearly as happy with it as I am with the short thingie I did last weekend, but I decided I just had to bite the bullet and get it out there. Whew.

I'm going to take it easy on LJ this weekend since there's a lot of family stuff going on.  Next week  I want to complain about Torchwood books some more, though.  I found out there's a new community dedicated to that exact goal -- retcon_bookclub -- which I just joined.

I'm really angry about the Arizona law.

This isn't a political blog so I won't go into much further detail other than to say that this is a deeply personal issue for me.

I watched this video again today, and this video (ha!) and this one.  I'm also going to give some extra money to the SPLC and anyone else who has good legal records at fighting this stuff.
