Fired up Ghost Machine! RUN RUN RUN CHASE CHASE CHASE
If Gwen's pants (excuse me, trousers) weren't so tight maybe she would have run down the suspect sooner
"I want to go home". Eerily like The Empty Child. "I've just seen a ghost." Jack and Owen twin eyebrow furrow in response.
I agree with other rewatchers that this made me sort of like Owen The old man is very charming
Love the faint nostalgic music box music in the background as Flanagan tells his evacuee story
And Owen calls him "motormouth" as soon as they leave. "I'm a twat" indeed.
Owen plays video games in the background. This became the basis, maybe, for the moronic plot of the "Another Life" tie-in novel.
I love it when Jack talks with his mouth full #onlygodcanjudgeme
Creepy sad bridge scene. I like how Owen seems within the field of vision of the "ghost" and is spoken to, but unacknowledged
Young Ed Morgan looks a little bit like young Nick Cave. Creepy creepy creepy.
Angry Jack yells, "Gwen, with me!" To the firing range. Oh boy. By the way I love her choppy bangs in this ep.
FIRING RANGE SCENE TOO HOT, KEYBOARD MELTING jklkjjkjlhkghjgffghghjhjkyufds
JACK SAID "COCK" AHAHAHA (ok, "cock back")
"When do you sleep?" "I don't." "Doesn't it get lonely at night?" AWWWWW
Gwen and Rhys moment, aww. Very cute. Then there's Owen in his bachelor pad being all obsessive.
The portrayal of Ed Morgan was fascinating. An awful person who gained nothing by his awfulness.
"I know what you did, Ed Morgan." & he's not going to admit it, not going to redeem himself. "You'll get nothing from me!"
Bernie Harris chase scene suddenly veers into comedy via use of funky music. I enjoy the abrupt changes of tone in Torchwood.
Tosh is so cute drinking with Owen. I wish she had more meaningful scenes, but Owen hogged all the character development. Twat!
The camera rushes in on Bernie, and it's... the phone! I fucking HATE fake scare gimmicks in horror. It mars an otherwise good ep
Ed Morgan is just the right mix of pathetic and menacing. We are scared less by him than by visions of the future.
And Owen keeps trying to get him to confess. And then Ed Morgan weirdly impales himself. A little contrived, but still works.
Jack doesn't have time for Gwen and Owen breast-beating and "it was my fault" stuff. #dealwithit
Aww Jack and Gwen hugging by the seaside AWWWWW
next up, Cyberwoman! The one where Ianto stops being invisible.
