I won some amazing art!

I didn't win a single fic auction, damn it! But I did win some art from suavebastard which I'm sure will be astounding, based on the example of their last charity commission.  I'm going to donate the $70 later tonight and round it up to $100 since I won less fic than I expected.

Afterwards, I have to decide what I want. So many choices I'm kicking around!

- The iconic riding-the-bomb pose
- Naked!Jack in front of the defabricator (another iconic pose)
- Art for The Battle of a Songhu: Shanghai!Jack in a CAF uniform
- Fragments!Jack with awesome sideburns and a riding crop or something
- post-COE Jack in a space battle
- Memoirs of a Voluptuary beach scene (haha just kidding)

I voted for the final winner in writerinadrawer.  You have until 7pm tonight to do the same.  I thought really long and hard and gave detailed reasons in my feedback.

Congratulations to aeshna_uk, who won a fic from me.  I'm excited to find out what it is, and I'm planning on starting it as soon as I finish the rough draft of the retconbookwrite I'm working on now.  I wrote a lot this weekend, and I have the structure all planned out, but it's going to be really, really tough to write.  I spent about four hours just going over 150 words of the one sex part, and I still don't think it's done.  Anyway, to motivate myself through the work, I'm using this ticker:

Finally, fresh out of the oven, canaana has a new Jack/Gwen/Ianto fic.  I LOVE this stuff.  The psychology of getting them into bed is excellent. The sex is excellent. There's not nearly enough of the pairing (or tripling?) but this kind of fic is well worth the wait.

Oh, WIAD was so hard this week... I basically gushed at all three of them, and barely contained myself from screaming "PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" at the two I voted down... Usually I can find something problematic with an entry, but this one really boiled down to personal preference, which makes me feel a little dirty.

I would love to see some art for Shanghai!Jack. If any fic deserves to get illustrated, it's that one.

And oh, I don't even want to think about retconbookwrite. I have an outline so far. Kind of. :)

Um, hello! Since we've been bidding on the same fics for help_pakistan (and getting out-bidded by a mysterious stranger), I thought I'd pop by and say hello. Also, you're one of my favorite new(ish) fic writers in TW, so I'm fangirling you here. I can't wait to see what emerges from your fic-prompting by aeshna_uk (another amazing writer).

And I vote for Shanghai!Jack art too!

ETA: thanks for putting up links for all the tw_gleeclub auction items. I'm psyched that everyone had lots of bids. TW silliness for a good cause!
